CarePlus Mobile Health is an app built as a singular health engagement platform for users (employees) to manage their health with notifications, wellness challenges, benefits and medical information.

The app was developed to fulfill our clients' need of a health solution that wasn't off-the-shelf to solve each of their unique employee population's care gaps, claims costs and workplace productivity. More often than not, they invested in wellness programs, designed without specific data-focused capabilities and for a group with low impact, and clients weren't seeing the long-term effects. We needed to built a platform to fill gaps in care for emerging and high-risk patients, who are employees with the highest claims costs, while still engaging their general population.

So with clients' high claims costs and low productivity as their main health care problems, we wanted to design full encompassing solution. We built an app with these problems in mind around the experience of the end user; a user-centered app personalized for each unique user's case, needs, and health goals while combining cross-platform data to deliver that experience.

Designed UX for regular notifications to users about their health status and wellness updates, as well as incentive-based oucomes and tracking.

UX design was going to be important for this app to be the center of health engagement, care management, and finding medical information. So we wanted the user's personalized notifications to be clear and engaging. We also added gamification, such as points and incentives, and rewards to continue that engagement for the long-term. 

We've refreshed the UI annually to ensure we keep up with design trends and experiences, while maintaining the integrity of the brand, and the ability to configure the app that met each client's unique health care problems. 

Over the course of the app implementation and improvement, we've provided clients with a 3:1 ROI, with seeing an average of 56% engagement, particularly most prioritized gaps in care, as well as through added features, data connections, and wellness challenges.
